The Bank Hotel Istanbul, a member of Marriott International’s Design Hotels, combines a deep-rooted history with eclectic architecture. The historical elements of this building (dating to the 1860s) have been preserved throughout the restoration of the hotel. For example, you can hold a meeting in the bank vaults, and in some areas of the hotel you can see historical cash registers, books and many other details that carry the legacy of the building’s banking history.

The Bank Hotel is on Istanbul’s former Vojvoda Street, now called Banks Street, and is at the beginning of the financial centre which throngs with bankers. The historical peninsula (Istanbul’s Old City), where iconic monuments and important museums are located within walking distance of the hotel.

The building was constructed by Antoine Tedeschi in 1867. Then later, in 2010, it was purchased by Yılmaz Ulusoy and entered into a new adventure in its story.

Based on its principle to renew by keeping its original shape and protecting its artistic value, The Bank Hotel Istanbul building has been continuing to welcome its guests with its modern guest rooms and meeting rooms, which balance beautifully with its historical typing machines and old cash registers.

There’s a mixture of rooms and suites available, ranging from classic to the penthouse suite, with its balconies and bathtub overlooking the city’s skyline. Elsewhere in the hotel, there’s the Lobby Bar & Restaurant, which offers an open buffet breakfast, global cuisine and a variety of cocktails and drinks. Serica Restaurant is another option, with its focus on gastronomy, cooking techniques and dishes inspired by the Silk Road. The Bank Roof Bar is a wonderful experience for guests, with signature cocktails and dishes full of unique flavours along with a magnificent view of the historical peninsula.
The Spa at The Bank Hotel Istanbul is renowned for modern and traditional care,  as well as the classic white marble Turkish hammam, fitness centre, sauna, steam rooms  and three massage and facial rooms.
